v7 UI Change suggestion
I know you are full steam ahead with the v7 UI. The most common function our users use are Edit, Edit Properties, and Download. I'm sure this is the same for 99% of your install base. From a usability standpoint your most common functions should always be easily available in one click. And while an additional click might not seem like a big deal to you or your developers it is a big deal to the end user. Especially when they are doing it 100's of times a day.
Their is ample room at the top where Filter, Sort, Copy/Cut/Paste, Select All, None, Export grid options are to add Edit, Edit Properties and Download. This would make the web application far more use friendly and should be highly considered by you and your developers. I'm not saying to remove the other buttons from the fly out menu. Just add the three most common used options at the top.
