Export Results Feature, CCv7

Export Results feature in Content Central v7.0 allows users to download a report based on all current documents showing in Content Central. The downloaded report is an XML File, that can be opened using Microsoft Excel as an XML table.

While there is no limitation in the number of results or rows when using this feature, this feature is limited by the session time of the browser being used, when downloading and generating the XML File.

Steps -

1. Login to Content Central.

2. Go to any Content Central Webpage that will show documents. (Example: Power Search, Approval Queue, Admin Approval Queue, Work Queue, others).

3. While there are document(s) showing in the Content Central Webpage, click  the 'Export Results' icon. (It looks like a disk icon found at the top right portion of the webpage.).

Based on the download settings of the browser you are using, an XML File will be downloaded to your Download Folder in your local computer.

4. Launch Microsoft Excel application. Open the downloaded XML File. Select to open the document 'As an XML table'.

For best results on generating reports in Content Central, use the Report Generation Tool.
