PDF Document Download Option in Chrome

PDF Document Download Option in Chrome

This applies to Chrome Version 83.0.4103.97 and above. 

Open Chrome browser.

In the Address Bar, enter "chrome://settings"



In the "Settings" Page, click "Privacy and Security".
Click on "Site Settings" under "Privacy and security".




In the "Site Settings" page, scroll down and click on "PDF Documents".



In the PDF documents Page, for the option "Download PDF Files instead of automatically opening them in Chrome":

IF the option is OFF or grayed-out, then the PDF Document File will show in the Chrome Browser.

IF the option is ON, then the PDF Document File will NOT show in the Chrome Browser, and an attempt to download or open the PDF document will show in the browser.
