Zonal Recognition can be configured from ‘Zonal Recognition’ Page to the specific Catalog and Document Type:
Click – Administration > Catalogs and Document Types > (Specify Catalog and Document Type) > Zonal Recognition
OCR – When document is OCRed at the zonal area, characters or printed texts recognized will populated the configured ‘Field to Populate’.
Barcode – When document is OCRed at the zonal area, custom Barcode recognized will populated the configured ‘Field to Populate’.
Remove Spaces -
If CHECKED, spaces are removed in the recognized value in the Zonal Area.
Document Break or ‘Begin new document for each qualified zone that is recognized’
If CHECKED, while OCRing a batch of pages, a new document is generated each time a qualifying value is found in the zonal area.
Doc Break on New Value or ‘Only if Zone value changes value’
If CHECKED, while OCRing a batch of pages, a new document is generated only when a new value is found zonal area.
Remove Page or ‘Remove page from document if qualified zone is recognized’
Use Regular Express or ‘Use Regular Expression to further qualify zone’
If CHECKED, a regular express must be specified to qualify the zonal values.
Regular Expression – The zonal condition or pattern to use to match the obtained value in the zonal area.
Field to Populate – The Document Type Field that will be populated based on the OCR recognized in the Zonal Area.
Item Order – The order to recognize the Zonal Area.
Page Number or ‘Page Number to Recognize’ – This defines which page number of the captured document will be used to extract field values or data.
Left Position – Distance in inches from left edge of the page to the OCR Zonal Area.
Top Position – Distance in inches from top edge of the page to the OCR Zonal Area.
Zonal Width – Width in inches of the OCR Zonal Area.
Zonal Height – Height in inches of the OCR Zonal Area.
