Capture Form, Configuration

This applies for Content Central v7 Document Management System.

Steps to Configure Capture Form

Login as Admin or member of the Administrator Group

Go to 'Administration' Page.

Go to 'Catalogs & Document Type'. Select a Catalogs and Document Type to configure.

Go to 'Capture Form'.

In the Manage Capture Form Page:
To add a new Capture Form, click 'Add Form'.

To edit an existing Capture Form, click the 'Details' (white gear icon) icon on the same row of the existing Capture Form.

To delete an existing Capture Form, click the 'Delete' (red X) icon on the same row of the existing Capture Form.

Capture Form Details

In the Capture Form Details Page, click 'Choose file'. Navigate to a PDF Fillable Form to use. Click 'Upload'.

Click to CHECK 'Enabled'.

For 'Use Legacy PDF-Interaction processing style', when CHECKED, the PDF Fillable Form Uploaded will be used as template to create or add a Fillable PDF Form document to Content Central. The template uploaded must have a Submit Button and Fields that matches the Field names in Content Central.

For 'Use Legacy PDF-Interaction processing style', when UNCHECKED, the PDF Fillable Form uploaded will be used as a template to create an Electronic PDF document in Content Central. The Electronic PDF document created is not a Fillable PDF Form document. When the Capture Form is applied, new Content Central Fields will be created based on the fields in the template PDF Form uploaded.

Enter a 'Name' and 'Description'

Click 'Apply' to save changes.
