Creating Field Rules set to Last Page or Specific Page


This is for Field Rules to populate Fields with index values extracted from the Last Page or Specific Page other than the 1st Page. 

A Document Layout must be created prior. The page with the index value must be captured prior. 

A. Create a new Field Rule for Any Document Layout

Navigate to the captured Page where the Field or Index value is located.

In the Menu, go to Index - briefcase Icon to go to the "Index-Field Rules" panel.
In the  "Index-Field Rules" panel, click "ADD RULE".
In the "Select Rule Configuration" prompt, enter:
Rule Type: Text Extraction
Location Type: Fixed Location
Field: (Enter the Field to populate).
Classify-Rule Group: Any

Click Next.

When the "Select Location on Image" prompt appears, create a box around where the Field Value is expected to show. Click Next.

For the prompt "Would you like to add another index rule", click "Finish"

In the "Index-Field Rules" panel, under "Classify Rule: Any", the new Field Rules is created.

B. Update the Field Rule to link to appropriate Document Layout

In the "Index-Field Rules" panel, under "Classify Rule: Any", click "PROPERTIES" under the Field Rule created in Step A.

In the "Rule Properties" prompt, for "What would you like to configure", select "Options".

Under "Document Layout", update to the actual layout it should be linked to.

The Field Rule will be linked to the Document Layout selected.

C. Update the Field Rule to link to the 2nd Page

In the "Rule Properties" prompt, for "What would you like to configure", select "Identification".

Under "Page Number", update to "Last Page" or "Specific page" and enter the Page Number.
