This applies to Content Central v7.

Document History

Content Central keeps track of the document revisions and changes in the Document History.

Major Version Revision

The Major Version Revision signifies that that document file itself has been updated or revised.

Added
Added as Copy
Moved
Checked In
Appended
Replaced
Uploaded Revision

Minor Version Revision

The Minor Version Revision signifies that that document properties or field values been updated. Any of these updates regarding the document do not include any changes or revision to the document itself.

Properties Updated
Begin Approval Process
Approved
Voted for Approval
Rejected
End Approval Process
Set Priority
Added/Updated Retention Policy

Document History

The latest revision of the Document will show as the preview of the document. 

Click ‘View History’ icon in the list view, or in the Actions Panel to display the Document History Page of the document. 




Download Document Revisions 


While previewing the Document History page, hover on the List item of any major revision. This would be signified by the List Item Row with a thumbnail. 

Click "Download" (green arrow pointing down) icon found at the lower left corner of the List Item Row. The document file of the selected revision will be downloaded in the Download Folder.
