This article provides step-by-step instructions for installing Content Central, Ademero's browser-based document management system. Follow these steps to ensure a successful installation and initial setup.

Installation Steps

1. Download the Installer

Obtain the latest Content Central installation package from Ademero or your provider.

Download Content Central from:


2. Run the Installer

Launch ContentCentral_Setup.exe on your server as Administrator.

The installer will check for required supporting packages (such as SQL Server Express and .NET Framework) and prompt you to install any missing components. Click Install to proceed.



The Content Central Installation package includes SQL Server. When prompted, allow SQL Server to be installed.


3. Follow the Installation Wizard

The InstallShield Wizard will guide you through the installation.

Click Next to begin.


Review and accept the End-User License Agreement.

4. Install and Finish

Choose your Destination Folder for Content Central files.

Click Next to continue.



Click Install.



Wait for the installation to complete. This may take several minutes.

Click Finish when prompted. You may opt to view the release notes.

Content Central is now installed and ready for configuration.
